Spotting the defeatist mindset in others is often easier than seeing it in ourselves. While we should "remove the plank from our own eye" before tackling other people's issues, you can practically help other people overcome their negative demons.

It's hard to believe it has been 5 years since starting Wolf & Iron. It's also hard to believe it has taken this long for me to clarify the message and set some direction to the mission of helping men Heed the High Call.

Theodore Roosevelt famously said: "Get action! Do things! Be sane! Get action!" This advice was given to a friend, a former Rough Rider, who came to TR for a handout after falling on hard times. Apathy is such an easy trap to fall into. Our unwillingness to care, to move, to act can be disguised by our business in life or the many distractions available to us.

In this episode I talk on how to overcome apathy and get action!

I’ve noticed a connection between succeeding as an entrepreneur and a desire to teach; to share the knowledge that has helped you get to where you are. For many entrepreneurs, taking the time to sit down and write a book and go through the publishing process (which can take a year or more) seems like an impossible task when also faced with the challenges of running their business.

Jessie Krieger, author and founder of Entrepreneur Lifestyle Press, gives men some advice on entrepreneurship, the return on writing a book, and how to get your ideas down on paper.

When I launched the Wolf & Iron Store I knew I wanted to carry only USA made products, but, I wasn't aware of some of the challenges that come along with doing so. Growing up in the 80s, as I did, it seemed like everything was made in the US, but as we all know there has been a very big shift to overseas labor and cheaper products. Competition is fierce. However, it's great to see the US getting back in the fight!
